ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN FOR PLANT TECHNOLOGY

As an electronics technician for plant technology you will assemble and install line control systems, and information and power lines. You will operate electrical power plants and draft and execute plant modifications and expansions. Your responsibilities will focus on performing regular checks on our plants and equipment as well as analyzing and eliminating disruptions.

The apprenticeship
You will receive basic training in cooperation with Provadis Bildung & Beratung GmbH. You will learn the basics of electro- and electronics technology, with a focus on measuring and testing technology.  You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge during the training periods in our company. Your apprenticeship includes a final examination by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Your Profile

  • Good high school grade point average
  • Interest in electro- and electronics technology and physics
  • Good math skills
  • Good ability to differentiate color

Start of the program
Every September.

Length of the Program
It normally takes 3.5 years to complete the apprenticeship program, although the program can be completed in 3 years if you study effectively.

Apprenticeship compensation in the State of Hesse (as of March 2008):

  1. year of the program: € 679 per month
  2. year of the program: € 742 per month
  3. year of the program: € 819 per month
  4. year of the program: € 891 per month
