Kronberg, Germany - (CZZ: FSE): Celanese Chemicals will increase selling prices for all of its Mowilith® Emulsion (wet basis) and Emulsion Powder (dry basis) grades effective January 15, 2005 or as contracts allow. The price increases will be as follows:

• Acrylic based and Styrene Acrylic based Emulsions by: € 15.00 / 100kg
• VAM based Emulsion co-polymers with Veova by: € 6.00 / 100 kg
• All other VAM based Emulsions by: € 5.00 / 100 kg
• All types Emulsion Powders grades by:  € 10.00/100 kg
