Dallas, July 21, 2008 – Celanese Acetate today announced surcharges for acetate filter tow products for all regions effective on August 1, 2008, in the amount of US$0.25/kg (€ 0.16/kg), due to the increases in costs for energy and raw materials. The surcharge will remain in effect until December 31, 2008.
